Personalised tutoring from professional and experienced local staff

In2Learning Dunedin  is  located diagonally opposite the back door of Mega Mitre 10.  We cater for students from primary school right through to Polytech.

At In2Learning, we begin with an assessment of your child's learning needs.  We believe an ethical approach is one which considers any underlying issues, such as visual or auditory processing problems.  We may recommend further investigation as part of our assessment.

After the assessment, we set learning goals in consultation with the parent or caregiver, and prepare a personalised programme of instruction.  Your child will be taught by a trained and experienced teacher, with up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum. We are familiar with the expectations of NZQA Achievement Standards and National Standards in Reading, Writing and Maths, and deliver programmes specifically designed to develop skills in these areas.  NCEA English, Maths, Science and Biology can be catered for, as well as Spelling, Comprehension, Writing, Reading and Maths for younger students.

The aim of our centre is to give students the confidence and ability to become self-motivated learners who achieve their potential.

Whether your child is behind and wanting to catch up, or already achieving and wanting to excel, or somewhere in between, In2Learning can help.

To provide further practical means of improving learning,  Sue is also a licensed Irlen screener. If your child has reading difficulties, there's a 50/50 chance that they have Irlen's syndrome. Find out more on www.irlen.com
